Accepting New Clients

Cheryl Bruce, Registered

Psychologist, #4567

I facilitate a counseling clinic a few times a week and you are welcome to join me for a single session, individual counselling, or couples counselling. I am not seeing families at this time as it is a little too difficult to put everyone on camera as I am currently only seeing clients via secure telehealth. Our conversations are confidential so I want you to feel comfortable and at ease in our time so that you will find it easier to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I hope you feel understood, accepted, encouraged, and also challenged at times since good therapy may be hard work.

I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and have a Masters' Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary, Athabasca University, and the University of Lethbridge that I finished in 2010. I have had graduate training and experience in assessing and treating many psychological disorders, which I will also list at the end in case that is helpful to you in some way (e.g. your Dr. mentioned PTSD and that you should find someone to talk to about it). Generally, though I like to put aside the modalities and disorders and view counselling in a more practical and personal way - you need change, support, or understanding. You are welcome click here to book a Telehealth Consultation to determine if I would be a good fit for your concerns (scroll down to Meet & Greet).
